Girls Trip Date TBA More

Well, the more I look the more confused I become.  I want everyone to come and I want to visit and relax more than anything so I am starting to think we work on two trips.  We start dreaming and working on a large trip in the way out future to the beach, mountains, New Orleans, California or a spa; and another for the closer future that is simple and easy.  I wanted to find somewhere here in Missouri that we could pretend we were all far away and relaxing.  Any suggestions?  I have never been to Herman or Augusta.  Are there any getaways there that could be fun?  Or maybe we plan a shopping weekend at the Plaza or in St. Louis and we stay in a hotel so we get to be away.

I think Savannah’s great for a long, fun girls’ weekend. The historic district is so pretty and charming, the B&B’s there are excellent (especially the Gastonian and the Foley Inn), and there are wonderful restaurants and bars/live music spots.

If you want beautiful beaches without the touristy feel of places like Cancun, check out Huatulco, Mexico. http://www.mexperience.com/inmexico/photos/9huatulco.htm

Amy,
Herman is so fun. Especially for couples. They have tons of great B&B’s and enough wineries to keep busy for a long weekend. My friends just who went for their anniversary just got back and had a great time.
I’ve never been to Augusta.

Chateau on The Lake just opened a new stand alone spa do not know any more about it yet though.  Oh yeah forgot.  Lake of the Ozarks could be fun too.
