Great, With one exception

We just returned from a wonderful visit to the Venetian. The room was very comfortable and the bed was soft. I wish they had a choice of pillows, like some hotels, but that is just one of my little quirks and not as important to most people. We had delicious room service in the morning, and trying to pick from the long list of award winning restaurants was the most difficult part of the day. The pool was very relaxing and we enjoyed walking around the shops and the wax museum.

Our experience was tainted by one problem. We walked out of our room to find poop in the hall. I realize it is not the hotel's fault if some jerk lets their dog do its business in the hall, but we called the front desk and it took almost an hour and a half for someone to come and clean it up. When they did clean it they missed some. We spent the day cautiously walking up and down the hall not wanting to step in poo. It was not the level of care I expect at a four star hotel.
