Great Beer and Good Food!

If you haven't had a chance to try Shamrock Brewing Company you are missing one of the best concepts in Pueblo. Alan Stiles (brewer) teamed up with Gordon Cossar (Chef Gordo) and offer some of the best beer and food in Southern Colorado. The restaurant opened in 1936 and operated until the renovation in 2005. Most of the character was preserved including the antique Mohagany bar and 1908 wood floor in the dining room. If you want some of the best Irish Fare try any of the Irish Specialties or if you are in the mood for something more traditional try Chef Gordo's fresh daily specials or fresh salmon of the day. Everything is house made including the salad dressings, nothing out of the box there. Ask what Alan is brewing special as he always has a special Belgian on tap or something extraordinary. By the way, if you like corned beef it is the best in Colorado, not your St. Patrick's day version!
