Aweful!!!
The rooms are cramped. The cafeterias have awful slow service. Reminds me of a Holiday inn. You get what you pay for.

Who said anything about fine dining???? I said the service was aweful in the cafeteria! When you have to wait in line for 1/2 an hour to get your lunch and they only have 3 people working behind the counters at peak times, thats pathetic. I have been to Disney over 10 times and knew exactly at what type of resort I was staying at. I just didn’t expect it to be Holiday inn style at Disney!!! For the amount of money we paid I could have stayed at a much nicer hotel near Disney. If you and your family had a great experience thats GREAT! I did not. I Think that resort is pathetic to be called a Disney World Resort. I don’t need you to tell me to step up to the plate and pay for the luxuries I want! I didn’t ask for any luxuries. I gave my opinion on the ALL STAR RESORTS. If it meets your standards, thats TERRIFIC!

Sorry, I truly didn’t mean to upset you. It is just that from your review it seemed like you were expecting more than what the resort would offer. Which one did you stay at Sports? Music? Movies? Maybe that would make a difference. We only tried to have lunch one day at the hotel (the first day we arrived). After that we were always out at one of the parks…guess that would make a difference.
Again, sorry to get you so upset. All I wanted to do was show a different side to the resort. I didn’t mean to offend you in any way, shape or form. The step up to the plate was a joke…All-Star Sports resort…you are from Boston…get it?
No problem, sorry I came across sooo nasty also. I was just trying to warn people that it wasn’t going to be the magical experience that you expect at Disney. I have actually stayed at the Sports and the Movies resort. I actually gave them 2 tries. Both times the caferia service was aweful. The food is pretty good, especially the salads! But the pool areas and grounds are boring compared to the other disney resorts. I guess I should have put more info into my first review. Sorry again and I look forward to reading about all your adventures. I am adding you to my friends list and I hope you do the same. :O)

What do you expect when you stay at one of the budget resorts? If you wanted fine dining and amazing service you should have stayed at the Grand Floridian. My family stayed at the All-Star Sports resort this summer and we had a great time, of course we knew we were staying at on of the economy (cheap) resorts.
The food was good and the rooms were spacious enough…seeing all you need is a place to sleep in between visiting the resorts. Next time step up to the plate and pay for the luxuries you want.
