Washington Monument
Fourth of July visit
We sat under the Washington to watch the Fourth of July fireworks. I have never had a better view of fireworks! It was amazing!

Reminded me of my very similar experience in 1978. My family and I sat on the steps below the Lincoln Memorial looking toward the Washington Monument over the reflecting pond. A band played prior to the fireworks. The crowds and traffic were terrible, but the fireworks were fantastic; the best we've ever seen! And what a finale! Ron W.

It was wonderful! Someday I would like to go back again during the 4th of July!
