La Playa is wonderful
Porta Bella Restaurant A really beautiful old villa that has a ton of charm and character. The grounds were filled with amazing flowers and the rooms were simple. The staff was very accommodating, helpful and made it a nice experience. Staying here was a short walk to downtown, so it was peaceful and also close to get down to the beach for a fantastic sunsets. For this time of year (June), the fog rolls in and takes a long time to burn off, yet was fine to cruise 17 Mile Rd and see Pebble Beach golf course or roll along Big Sur after checking out the Monterey Aquarium.
