Open Bowl Skiing

Wow, every time I go to A-Basin, I remember why I like it so much. Wide open skiing. It's so high up that you get breath=taking views and then some breath-taking runs too. Whether you're into scary, sic steep with VW-sized bumps on Pallavicini on the front or dropping the lip of the bowls, it's so much fun. Right on, all good, sic braahhhh! I do end up remember that it can get a bit crowded and there isn't a ton of terrain. Although, they're opening more up in 2007, I believe. In any case, when you are headed to Vail (or heading back to Denver) for some of this fresh powder ( http://www.realvail.com/blogs.php?catid=21 ) then it's worth a quick stop to get you part of the way (back) and some fun turns.
