Misses the mark
I was super excited to visit Grand Rios on a recent winter weekend with my husband, 5 year old, and 1 year old. We’ve been to Great Wolf Lodge (WI & KS) and really loved them so expected something similar.
We had nothing but trouble from beginning to end of our visit. The reservation agent promised us early check-in (10 a.m.) but hotel staff wouldn’t let us check in until 4, we couldn’t redeem our snack vouchers because the snack bar was closed the entire time we were there. The water park was okay when you were in the water, but outside the pools it was just plain drafty! In addition to the snack bar being closed, we were told (twice) the wrong times that the restaurant would be open. The front desk staff was very snotty and basically blamed me for having been given inconsistent information from every employee I interacted with.
The only reason I even gave it two stars was that the parking was convenient and the room itself was quite comfortable.

I am sorry that happened to you. It sure does look like it would be classy all the way around including the staff. sometimes we are decieved, but you have opened our eyes to this place…
