Ritz-Carlton Atlanta
A Great Stay in Downtown
Okay its not the greatest Ritz Carlton in the world. If you are looking for that sort of experience go stay at the Ritz Carlton Buckhead an hour’s drive away (when you figue rush hour traffic). If you are downtown for buisness and want to inpress your collegues with the address of your hotel, this is the place to be. The staff is extremely pollite and professional and can bend over backwards to fullfill any request you might have (it just might take a little prodding). The beds are extremely comfortable, and where else are you going to find a Picasso hanging in a non-descript corner, sit on Louis XIV chairs owned by Louis XIV, and walk on 200 year old paersian carpets? Its an expereince that everyone should try and then decide if this sort of luxury is what you are into or the Westin is more your style.

Hey, Concierge! I actually interviewed the concierge at the Ritz on Peachtree. It was for a presentation I was giving. I compared the concierge to the devil in Goeth's novel "Faust". Very intersting and beautiful hotel.
