Museum of the History of Science (Museo di Storia della Scienza)

A Trip Back to Scientific Beginnings

I visited this museum on a weekday afternoon, very little crowd and a pleasant staff. The array of scientific materials from Galileo’s telescope to many of Da Vinci’s sketches was simply amazing. Nicely divided by scientific realms of study (astronomy, human biology, weather, etc.) and just puts into perspective the importance of Italy during it’s Renaissance.
