Barbeque at its finest

I know I make a bold claim by saying that Carter Bros. BBQ is the finest BBQ, especially in NC where BBQ is seirous business, but Carter Bros is certainly among the best. IMHO, THE best. For the average price of about $7-$8 per plate, you will be treated to a large helping of some down-home country style BBQ fare. On Saturdays, Carter Bros. serves all-you-can-eat beef ribs that literally fall off the bone. And a trip there just would not be complete without finishing your meal with their banana pudding or blackberry cobbler.

Lunch hour is chaotic, however as many of us locals swarm the place, including our firefighters (which is always a sign of good eats). Go there after the lunch & dinner rushes. No smoking allowed inside.

There are two locations in High Point. The first is on Main Street and the new shop is open on Samet Drive. You will not be disappointed!
