Great Hotel in Santa Monica

My wife and I have stayed here a few times, and the location is hard to beat. Most rooms have a great view of the ocean, which you can walk to easily, and the Third Street Promenade is just a few blocks away too. We stayed in this hotel while we were searching for a place to live in Santa Monica, and at that time the service was great (2003). We ended up moving a few blocks away from the hotel, and I ended up using the lobby as my own personal meeting room for friends and clients. We made our way back to the Fairmont a couple of years later, and found the hotel staff to be less friendly. We will probably give them another shot because it is a great hotel, but only one more try. Watch for an update from me on this hotel.
