6/18 and 6/19

6/18- Short. loong bus Ride, day at a fish peir. Basically a cranky day, so let's just leave it at that =P

6/19

Farm Day! We saw baby iceburg (smaller than regular ice burg, which makes it more household friendly because you dont throw out half a head of lettuce, I guess) Farm hands harvesting and packaging romaine by hand right on the field. Hot as hell! We went to In and Out for lunch....43 people at once...it was a bit crazy chaotic. But I kept it more or less simple: Burger, Shake, Fries "Well Done". I like In and Out Burger, some people in my class are food snobs and cant appreciate the hand madeness of it, or that it's better than..well, probably any fast food chain I've ever been to. (Wendy's is a close second) I just like that there are so few out there and they are so focused on freshness.

Next was a Mache Farm (put a little triangley accent mark on the a) it was some kinda green leafy thing. We were all tired, having been on the move for hours, and wasnt up for much talk. Stephanie, Prof Murphy and I took some pics in a field of broccoli, and finally went back to the hotel.

We went to Passionfish for dinner. It got mixed reviews. the menu and pictures of it are on the photobucket site.

The salad was YUMMY. But anything with melty cheese on it tends to be good. The fish was too peppery..instead of the cracky pepper, it was mostly  an overcracked powder...and it was paired with wasabi cole slaw...umm.....i think anyone with any insight on meals could tell you how unbalanced it was...but the fish was okay as long as you drank the wine..which they kept pouring.

Prof Raider sat at the table I was at, and wanted to know a lot about is: How we got to be at the school,  extern (after I said how bad mine was) and the worst thing we've ever done. Which seemed weird...but it was fun anyway. But the worst thing I've ever done was kinda lame: I've told off my h.s guidance counselor once and than  wrote her a note when I went to the school closing day...just in case anyone was wondering.

Dessert was good...looked weird on the plate (smooched lava cakes with a blackberry sauce) but it was good. Raider let us sample some dessert wine with it.

Then the owners came in, and talked FOREVER!!! we finally got back late and I more or less was in bed not long after.
