Today was cool. We went to a special stop. A student has an uncle who is at a winery in Cali, so she got us a tour. And it was a great, cool place. Huge lavender garden with lots of lavender products, all house made...oh, and their wine was pretty good too.....but it's hard to drink wine at 10ish in the morning, lol.
I got some lavender honey for my sister, and some neat lavender/chamomile balmish type stuff for me and my mother, and we were off to the next thing...I thinl lunch....which was a nutty affair.
BASICLY they gave usEACH $20, dropped us in this cute little town and said "You have 45 minutes." Sweet. My friends and I found a deli, and when we ordered, I saw this familar little package....NECKTAT NUGGETS!!!!!!!!! Holy goodness. Childhood nostalgia. My mom would get a box of these at the Co-op at school, or the nursey school. Yummy. They were a different flavor, but I didnt caere. I got two, one for me, one for my brother, and was excited. They were so good!!! Almond Butter....I couldnt wait to track them down at home (which I did, at amazon.com)
We went to a mushroom farm next. They breed and grow their mushrooms in these plasticy jars and in rooms. It was all very clean, and they had a LOT of them. (mycopia.com)< That's the site of where we were, in case you were interested.
