The 2008 It List

The list of places I want to visit is so long that I should stay away from lists that suggest even more places to visit. But I love those lists. This is from Concierge.com, and although some places seem not so "It List"-worthy to me (San Diego? Really?), other places definitely piqued my interest. So here's the lineup:

Mozambique - Sounds interesting, but I have a lot of Europe and South America to cover first, and possibly Nepal, as well.

St. Lucia - Who doesn't love the Caribbean?

Montenegro - I'm adding this one to my list. It popped up on some "where to go next" lists a couple years ago, and I've been intrigued ever since.

Ecuador - My elementary school Spanish teacher was from here, and it always sounded like an interesting spot to visit. I want to hit Argentina first, though.

Sicily - Already in my plans.

San Diego - Meh. Though right now I'm sure it's warmer there than it is here.

Hainan island, China - Along with Africa, the Far East is in the "eventually" part of my list.

Oman - There are several places I'd like to visit in the Middle East, and I think Israel comes first, though this place looks pretty.

Puerto Escondido and the Oaxacan Coast - Huatulco is definitely on my list - much more laid-back and much less touristy than places on the Mayan Riviera.

Paris - Also on my list.

So, has anyone been to Montenegro? I'd love to hear about it if you have.

Oh, and here's the link, if you want to read the article: http://www.concierge.com/ideas/styledesign/articles/detail?id=1685&page=0
