Worth a visit

For most people, I think, Crown Center isn't a place you return to again and again. It's kind of interesting to visit occasionally - especially if you have little kids, who'll enjoy things like the Crayola store and cafe - but the shops really aren't interesting enough to keep you coming back on a regular basis. It's most fun to visit during the holidays, when it's decorated for Christmas and the huge Christmas tree is up and the ice skating rink is open. There's a fun little shop that has all kinds of dog stuff, a neat shop that sells Christmas stuff year-round, and an interesting women's shop called Vinone's. Downstairs there are several quick-casual restaurants and a Topsy's popcorn shop (yum!). There's also a Halls Department store here, too (the other one's on the Plaza). Hallmark fans can visit Hallmark's international headquarters, which is connected to Crown Center, as are the Westin and Hyatt hotels.
