Kawiee's Reviews
The Abbey
Celebrity hot spot, and great place to have drinks.
The extensive martini menu exhausts even the most imaginative martini drinker. The banana chocolate martini my friend had was simply divine, although not something that would be ordered without some help. The beautiful bartenders attended to our needs and put up with the hijinks of demanding patrons without skipping a beat. Although it is located in the heart of the gayborhood, the ambiance can be appreciated by all and is generally a waystation for the West Hollywood tourist. The food is excellent and served until late at night. The bakery offers a wide selection of cheesecakes and baked goods. There were plenty of women wishing for more plentiful stalls in the bathroom during busy nights. With four bars, an extensive open wrap-around patio and decorative accents, the Abbey is one of the best nightspots LA has to offer. Be sure to return sometime before things heat up and order of their Sunday brunch menu sometime, the bloody marys are just what one needs after a lengthy night out.
