This morning I'm off to Vancouver for a couple of days. Mostly to go to the dentist at the University of British Columbia dental school – I'm going to start getting implants. Ghastly expensive, but 1/3 the price of a regular dentist!

But, it's also an opportunity to see some friends. Tonight, I'm planning dinner at my favourite sushi place in New Westminster, Kirin Sushi Restaurant

Tomorrow night, a big group of us are off to Heritage Grill , to see our favourite local band, Lesismore . (They played at my wedding – a bluesy good time.)

I'm back on Thursday, sometime, so it's not a long trip. Too bad.
