Loricat's Reviews
Old Quarter
Richly rewarding area
This is a truly lovely area, and is best appreciated on foot, or by cyclo (the half bicycle, half baby-carriage-for-adults that you can hire to take you places). Old, interesting, and full of small shops & restaurants. Many streets have their own specialty – Silk Street for example.
Compared to the rest of Hanoi, the old quarter is slow moving and peaceful, filled with life and beautiful old trees.
