Vancouver

Anything is possible

Vancouver pretty much has it all. On a good sunny Spring day, for example, you could go skiing in the morning, have a late lunch on an outdoor patio in the sun, shop in Chinatown for the afternoon, and see a play in the evening, after a lovely dinner.

Vancouver has Stanley Park, a park as big as the downtown core. It has kilometers of seawall connecting the waterfront. It has interesting ethnic communities scattered throughout. Three accessible ski hills. Parks. Museums. Shopping. Historical sites. Live entertainment. Cuisine from all over the world.

The weather is mild through the winter, and not too hot in the summer. And yes, there is rain – but not all the time, and often it is so mild that only tourists carry umbrellas, the average Vancouverite can’t be bothered. The rain in the city fills the ski hills with snow, and help keep the landscape mostly green all year round.
