Timbuktu Restaurant & Lounge
Good Crabcakes
This place is known for their CRABCAKES! There were people therefrom all over (Baltimore, DC, etc) What also makes it perfect is
that its just up the road from Arundel Mills so you can catcha movie
and shop till you drop.
I had the Fried Trio
Shrimp, scallops and a Timbuktu crabcake for $23.95
The shrimp was huge and great. THe scallops were good but I have
had better but the CRABCAKE was HUGE! It had the biggest chunks of
crabmeat I have seen and there wasnt much filler! It was GREAT!
My Hubby had Chicken a'la Timbuktu
Tender breast of chicken sauteed in mushroom and
white wine sauceand artichoke hearts for $11.95
It wasn't the best but it was still good!
They have some great specials nightly and some wonderful looking
combo platters (ribs and cake looked good also)
Also they have a 6-pack and carry out that has pizza, subs,
sanwhiches etc!
