I've lived in Ontario my entire life and I know where Paris is located here but I've actually never been.  A friend said to me this morning that he thinks we should go and check out the town someday based on a feeling he has about the place (he's never been there either).  Is there anyone here from the Paris, Ontario area that can tell me what it's like and if you have any special weekends during the spring or summer?  Where are good places to eat and shop?

A friend asked me last night if I would be interested in going to California on a trip.  We're both into wine so Napa and Sonoma are definite parts of the trip.  What I'm wondering is if there is anyone out there in Gusto Land that has been to California, or lives there, that can make suggestions on place to stay and to visit?  If you want to, make me a friend as well.
