Bermuda

If your idea of a dream holiday is perfect beaches with turquoise water, friendly locals, history, 5 star hotels and golfing, then Bermuda is where you should be heading.

After spending 3 months cruising in and out of Bermuda each week while working on a cruise ship, I got to see so much of this small island and can't wait to return.

The currency used is USD even though it is still part of the British Empire. You will find it is quite expensive with eating out and booking accommodation.

A place you must visit... Horseshoe Bay - it really does have pink sand and make sure you pop into a pub in St Georges called Griffins - it's great!
