Guenther House

Great Biscuits and Cool History

The Guenther House is a great place to get breakfast or lunch right on the river without the hustle and bustle of the tourist Riverwalk. Even better, there are very few tourists that eat at the Guenther House which makes this a gem. Local folks eating some of THE BEST Biscuits and Pancakes you will ever find. While waiting for a table you can shop in the gift shop for your own Pioneer flour mixes or visit their small but very cool museum. The entire restaurant is a museum since it used to be the home of the Guenther family, the founders and still current owners of Pioneer Flour. This place is excellent and if the line seems long it is completely worth it.
