Terrific Skating Rink in the Galleria!

I just visited the lovely city of Dallas for the first time this past week. One of the places I sought out after seeing it online was the Galleria. It is pretty much standard as newer malls go, but it has an amazing indoor ice skating rink in the middle! It was such novel fun to see people skating on the ice when outside it was a muggy and sweltering 90+ degrees. The Galleria has a nice mix of midstream and upper-end shops, and one nice detail was that the Westin hotel was attached to the Galleria itself, terrific for anyone staying at the Westin! Another positive note: there is plenty of valet parking to be found for a nominal fee. After searchingin vain for a regular spot on a Saturday afternoon, I finally ended up at the Nordstrom valet ~ easy as pie and the attendants were very sweet and quick about the retrieval of my car.
