Last Day in Missouri off to Colorado

Well today is my last day before  I am off to Colorado.  So many different feelings running through my head right now I can not even explain them.  Mostly I will miss the people I work with and around.  What a devoted, great bunch of people with wonderful creative vision.  I look forward to seeing what the future brings for all of them.  I will miss you guys and your vision. Keep building something great.

Next family and friends.  As always I will...

Sunshine Run

we finished another race. It was fun. I finished with my best time yet so I guess imrpovement is good. Peyton and Kennedy both crossed the finish line at home plate in Hammons Field. That was really cute and they thought it was great. I will try to get the camera fixed so I can post some photos.

Local 5K

Well Peyton is going to enter another 5K.  This one is in Springfield.  Hopefully he will finish less than an hour.  The family is running the Sunshine run.  It should be fun.  Stay tuned for all the times and stories.

Finished the Race

Well we are back and it was a nice weekend.  My 6 year old actually ran or I should say walked but finished the 5K.  He was so proud. He got a medal and has carried it around since.  He already wants to run in the local Sunshine run this next weekend.  I am sure I will get him registered and let him run.  His time was 1 hour, maybe next weekend he can beat that.

Kansas City Run

Off to another race.  This one is in Kansas City. Don is running the half marathon and all the rest of us slackers are running the 5K.

We will go to Kansas City Friday and stay until Sunday.  The race is of course Saturday morning and I hope the weather is good.  My kids will both be running which will be interesting but fun.  I am sure we will have some time to do other things while we are there so check back to see what we found of interest.

My husband...

Decision Made

Breckenridge, CO it is.  We have decided to relocate to Breckenridge.  Who would guess from the sunny, hot ocean to the beautiful cold mountains.  We decided to stay out of the big city of Denver and the suburbs, but Breck is only an hour away from the action and it is absolutley beautiful.  The mountains surround you and it is breathtaking.  The town should be wonderful to raise the kiddos in and they will love it (I hope).  Check back in the spring and make...

Denver Trip

Well we made it back from Denver.  I would much rather fly than drive, but it was not too bad.  Hubby did all the driving so that was good.  What we did??? Well you would think a week (7 days) without the kids for the first time in 3 years would be fun, but it mostly was work since we were looking for the best place to relocate for the next 15 years.  Nothing like pressure.  We still enjoyed ourselves and ate at several fun restaurants.  The hotel was nice...
