A perfect stay!
The accomodations were beautiful: hardwood floors, tile fireplace surrounds, leaded glass windows, as well as thoroughly modern and well maintained. Our guestroom had fresh Otis Spunkermeyer cookies, bottled water, Starbucks coffee, and a variety of loaner CDs to enjoy. The sitting room in our house had a fire going in the fireplace, even though there didn’t seem to be many guests. Nice touches. Every person we met from the staff was thoughtful and kind. We didn’t take advantage of the complimentary shuttle service, but it looked like it would have been with a MetroCar. The breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere was terrific. Perfect location for enjoying the culture/arts center of Detroit. If you reserve a room using Expedia.com, you can earn “Thank You” rewards points. I would absolutely recommend this place and would love to stay again.
