Acme Oyster House
Your my boo.
Acme has some of the best oysters that I have had in the U.S.. I dressed mine only with lemon juice. Fresh and sweet tasting. So delish. I would recommend going at non-peak hours when the line is not as long. The atmos was filled with tons of tourist and the noise added to the scene. I chatted it up with a guy frying the oysters in back. He told me that raw was really the way to go. I had to agree. Mine were perfect. Nate had a catfish Po-boy that was alright, but my Boo Fries were the bomb. French fries covered in au jus, debris and melted cheese. They became my boo. I think our waitress was having a bad day. She was not a happy camper. Maybe it was because her pants were so tight. Must have been uncomfortable.
