A time and a place
I would say that if you could stay at the Hudson when the weather is warm in nyc, then book it. It was winter when I was there and, in my opinion, the atrium is the coolest part. I was here by myself on business and wished I had the hubby here to really enjoy the cool bars in the hotel. I did have a drink in each one and they were pretty hipster-sih. The rooms are tiny but fine for just one or two. Nice bed and good bath ammenities. I think it just might be a bit overrated.
