best place i stayed in my two weeks in costa rica

miguel the owner was the nicest man i met during my travels (and that’s saying a lot considering how friendly the costarricenses are). he runs the inn/hostel with his wife – and has two adorable kids who run around too. breathtaking views of the arenal volcano (but not too close that there’d be anything to worry about). miguel offers all sorts of tours, and will make arrangements for you for anything else you want to do in the area. not fancy accomodations at all, but very clean and comfortable. i think i paid $18/nite (incl homemade breakfast)
