Reminiscence
All of this reviewing of places I've been and uploading of photos is making me reminisce about my trips. I've especially been reminiscing about Finland. Those were some great trips. I am anxious to go back again. Of course it's half way around the world, but I want to go there again. I feel a connection with Finland because my husband is half-Finnish and his grandmother and his uncle's family are still there. And I've just discovered an old friend from college who lives there now, too. What a small world. Anyway, I know we're supposed to go to Australia next (and I won't argue when we are there), but I do hope we can go back to Finland soon, too.

Posting here is really making me reminisce, too! I always want to go new places, so I tend not to go back to the same countries or cities again. But it would be great to go back to some of the places I've already been, too. Especially after reading everyone's reviews and seeing some of the great pictures people have taken!! I was only in Helsinki for two days, about 5 years ago, so that's one place I can definitely see myself going back to! I want to see the rest of Finland, too.
It really changes the whole feel of a trip if you know people there, too, huh?! There's so much less stress having people around who know where they're going and speak the language, even in Finland, where most people speak English. & you have someplace free to stay, usually, and tour guides! Great! I like discovering places on my own, too, but sometimes it's nice to to have to!
