EL CAJON – Just what is the lure of the Yogurt Mill?

Catherine Crouch of Bonita waited in line for her chance to dig into one of the Yogurt Mill’s large offerings. The Yogurt Mill has been an El Cajon institution for 28 years.
Is it the building that looks like a mini Leaning Tower of Pisa amid the strip malls on Broadway? Do customers stand in lines stretching to the street because of the mammoth portions of yogurt, where a junior size could satisfy a family of four?
Owner Sharilyn Newquist can’t explain it.
