Lutheran Cathedral (Tuomiokirkko)
Beautiful
The Helsinki Lutheran Catherdral is beautiful. It is huge and can be seen from a distance. One of the most powerful images I have of this cathedral is walking up one of the streets nearby and watching it grow in size and stature as I approached. It is so beautiful. This cathedral has become the main image associated with Helsinki. I have a picture of this uploaded into my Helsinki pictures folder. If you look closely you can see the Finish flag waving on the far right side. This symbol of Helsinki is a place not to be missed on a tour of the city.
