The Pointe South Mountain Resort lies at the base of South Mountain, and offers unparalleled access to miles of beautiful desert landscape as it sprawls across almost 300 acres adjacent to South Mountain Park, the largest park in Phoenix. The hotel is the perfect family resort and is home to “The Oasis”, an exciting six acre water adventure featuring the 83-foot-high Slide Canyon Tower, the Zuni Active River and an 800-square-foot children’s lagoon with multiple water jets. Luxurious two room suites offer plenty of space and feature fully stocked minibars plus all the comforts of home, including in suite coffee and a daily newspaper. The resort offers five themed restaurants and unique lounges, six pools, a hot spring and 25 person hot tub, tennis and racquetball courts and a beautiful 38,000 square foot athletic club and spa facility for workouts and relaxation. For the golf enthusiast an 18-hole par-71 golf course is beautifully set into the side of the mountain. Guest can also enjoy horseback riding; the resort has a stable on the grounds and takes guest through nearby trails. The hotel staff is professional and will welcome you with a warm, inviting smile. The hotel offers fine dining and a complimentary shuttle takes you to Arizona Mills Shopping and the entertainment Complex. Discover family friendly activities and the beauty of the Arizona mountainside at the Pointe South Mountain Resort. _* *_

non-compliant and not people friendly--Larry Angelo

Anonymous' rating:

"We were going to stay 10 days but after my wife had to wait 45 min. for a spa treatment and it was no big deal to the staff, I left and found a lot better place that was more comfortable and people friendly. They should get rid of the spa manager and get someone that is capable of running it effieciently. The place is in need of some tlc. The front desk wasn’t helpful at all either, it was no big deal to them. I stayed 3 nights and then left and went to the Sheraton at Wildhorse Pass. Very nice people and accomodations."

"We lived right across the street from here. The place is very nice. Not as nice as the other resorts in town. The kids will have fun here though. The have great slides to keep you cool in the summer heat."

Family friendly and great golf!

JustonParker's rating:

"This used to be a great property. The water park is outstanding for families and keeps you entertained. The Phantom Horse Golf Club is one of the best in the Valley. It was recently sold and it has gone slightly down hill since then."
