Good Day Trip

While in Venice we took a day to visit Murano and Burano. The vaporetta took us out to the lagoon islands and then we circled around half of Venice on the return trip which was a lovely ride and a pleasant way to spend a couple hours in the afternoon. Murano was my favorite; it is known for glass blowing. There is a free glass blowing demonstration at a factory there and many shops selling glass blown objects, jewelry, etc.
