A Stone’s Throw Away is located in the west end of New Providence in Nassau, Bahamas. Five miles from the property is the Bacardi Factory which offers free tours and complimentary samples. Downtown Nassau is 15 miles from the property, and the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort & Casino is located 16 miles away on Paradise Island.
The property is perched on the bluffs overlooking the coral reefs in the sapphire blue waters of the Caribbean and the native pine forests. Built to echo the traditions of an old Bahamas home, the house features wood floors, wood ceilings, louvered shutters and a large wrap around porch furnished with antique Indonesian teak daybeds and lounge chairs. Full complimentary breakfasts are served every morning either in the dining room or on the porch overlooking the ocean, and a complimentary honor bar is available in the living room. The inn features a restaurant and bar that offers Caribbean fusion meals for breakfast and lunch, and evening cocktails. The swimming pool features a rocky outcropping on one end that creates a small alcove hidden behind the veil of water that cascades from the top of the rocks. The bed and breakfast offers a boutique and the Wellness massage center on the ground floor of the building.

The inn features eight guestrooms and two suites. The Garden View rooms are located on the first floor, and, true to their namesake, overlook the gardens and the pool area. The Island rooms on the second and third floors feature panoramic views of the island, Lake Killarney and Old Fort Bay. All rooms feature private bathrooms and private access to the wraparound porch. Cable television, DVD players and mini refrigerators are provided. Complimentary high-speed Internet access is available in all accommodations.
