Tater Tots + Giant Skull = YAY

I prefer this Vortex to the other one simply because YAAAY GIANT SKULL!

Anyway, service is usually good (although they do get busy, so the service can be slow during a rush)- but a note: don’t be a jerk to the servers, because the Vortex has a pretty funny don’t-be-a-butthead-or-we’ll-kick-you-out policy which you can read at their website :D Overall, the Vortex has REALLY good food, including Tater Tots, yaaay! And you get a HUGE portion size- I love me some Tots, but even I can’t finish them all (I stick them in my pocket for later). Also, I’m a picky eater, and I can eat a ton of things on their menu (just something to keep in mind for picky eaters out there), but my boyfriend who eats EVERYTHING says he’s never had a bad dish there, no matter what he ordered.

Also, the location is pretty sweet (Little Five Pts!), so go early and walk around and check out the awesomeness of Little Five (although I DON’T recommend walking around there at night :/ ) But there’s lotsa great shopping, so you can really make a day of walking around and then eating some tasty tots :D

In conclusion, if I had to sum up the Vortex in one word, it would definitely be: YUM!!!
