Nice, calm city
"I went to Brussels for a weekend after being in Amsterdam, and I was amazed by how few people there were! It wasn’t empty, but it was so nice not to be jostled by crowds constantly! Of course, this was in October, so it wasn’t peak tourist season, either!! Still, I think Brussles is underrated as a tourist destination in Europe. Brussels was great- the buildings were beautiful in the center of town, there was lots of shopping, and a lot of cool museums to go to. There were good restaurant, and cute cafes, and friendly people, too. I need to go back now that the Atomium has opened, because that looks so cool!
