"This would have been a lot better if I wasn’t American! I hadn’t seen most of the comics much, since they’re only popular in Europe- Asterix and Tin Tin, for example. I’ve heard of them, and seen them a few times, but this didn’t bring back any special memories for me. The Smurfs on the other hand… I was quite excited then! I went with a Swedish friend, and she was excited about all the things. There were the comic strips themselves, most not in English, and then bigger reproductions of some things, and marketing stuff, and toys! It was cool to walk around in for an hour, and it really made me want to read some comics when I got out! The gift shop has fun toys and merchandise from some of the comics. If you are familiar with European comics, you’ll love this place!"
