Birthday Party Games

jamessandler

Birthday party games are one of the most important parts of the party. While cake, ice cream, and presents are loads of fun; if you don’t have a way to entertain the guests the party can quickly turn into a yawn-fest. Even worse would be ensuing chaos when a group of children that has consumed sugary cake and ice cream is left to their own devices for entertainment. The following g...

New York, New York

A blog about New York, NY
am-van

I am going to be in New York for 3 days next weekend.  What do I absolutely have to do while I’m there?  I’ve never been, and I don’t know when I’ll get to go back.  Obviously I have The Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building on my list, but what else should I be sure to see?  Please let me know if you’ve got some great places to see/things to do for my list.  The obvious as well as the obscure are welcome.  Tha...

4 Reasons to Consider Shark Diving

A blog about San Diego, CA
sharkdiver

Shark diving adventures have grown in popularity since 1990 with more operators and more dive sites 4than ever before. Safety and the understanding of sharks and shark behavior have led this unlikely revolution in scuba diving. Prior to the 90’s almost all species of shark were considered dangerous, even the beautiful Black Tip reef shark which today is the proud star attraction at many Shark Rodeos. Here is a short list of why you should consider a shark diving adve...

Living in Tuscany

Sandra-Cemulini

I love Tuscany, I find it one of the most beautiful places in the world.  I grew up in both Switzerland and NYS, lived in Paris, and spent many happy summers in my Father’s northeast region of Friuli, but ever since I was a child I was fascinated with Leonardo, the Renaissance, and the art of this seemingly dream-like place.  I arrived in Florence at 17, it was 6:30am on a very hot August morning, and as I walked from the station to the D...

The Philadelphia Pass

am-van

I am considering taking off for the long weekend and going to Philadelphia.  I've never been there before and know very little about it.  I saw something called the Philadelphia Pass online and am wondering if anyone knows of it or has used it before?  I will be going with my husband, two young kids, and my parents.  What are some fantastic things to do in Philly that I just shouldn't miss?  Anyone, ideas would be greatly appreciated!

American Airlines--AUUGGGHHHHH!!!!

ohsostrange

I don't think the delays are "accidental" at all.  Every time I fly American with a connecting flight, the second flight is inevitably both "delayed" and overbooked.  They will always, but always announce that the plane is being worked on for "mechanical issues" and also that they need people to volunteer to be bumped to a later flight because they've overbooked.

I'm convinced that the airline holds the...

Paris ???

Vee

I'm planning a trip next year for Paris and London and I really don't want to go to Paris. I know weird huh ? It was one of my wishes to visit Paris when I was studying french but now it just seems like such a boring place to go to. I'm hopng that once I "dust off " my French that my interest in this city will peak. I wonder if I'm afraid because of the language barrier or maybe I'll be bored stiff. Does anybody know of some places to visit or things to do...

Vacation Time

A blog about Penticton, Canada
Loricat

I'm starting a new job on Monday, and this means it'll be ages before I can get some vacation time. Ah well, a change is as good as a rest…(I hope!)

Any trips planned for the summer, folks?

I live in Western Canada's vacation paradise, so my vacation will be having friends coming to stay to visit wineries, hang out at the beach, and just bake in the sun and eat fresh fruit.
