"This ship is one of the most decorated ships of our time. She went onto fight a lot of our countries sea battles before being retired, and won the majority of them. This is the ship that was filmed during the making of the recent Titanic movie. The room with the ropes is actually USS hornet room. They painted the rope to go along with the Hollywood set. It was very nicely done over. I liked the captian’s seat. I tried to sit in it a couple of times, and couldn’t boost myself into it. Our guide sat into it with no problems. that was slightly a bummer. "
