This hotel shares common grounds with the neighboring Disneyland Hotel. It includes restaurants, a pond with paddle boats, an outdoor pool with a sandy shore and volleyball, shopping galore, and the famous monorail. The decor here is a bit more upscale than the classic Disneyland Hotel and honors modern Disney heroes and heroines like those from The Lion King. Many rooms overlook the waterfront of the new adventure park. Some rooms have private patios; some rooms are poolside cabanas.

Very Nice Alternative

"We booked this hotel for a four night vacation in October. We decided to upgrade to Concierge Level service and I am very glad we did. Our room was a nice cabana room. These rooms are at pool level and have a small courtyard that leads out onto the pool area. It was very nice that the kids did not have to go any farther to go to the pool. The concierge service was wonderful. It provided us with breakfast (cereals, fruit etc) every morning, snacks and drinks througout the day and in the evening a light buffet with complimentary beer and wine. Then we could borrow Disney DVDs every evening for the kids to watch in our room. We were allowed to take two drinks per person out of the lounge at a time and we could then bring them into the park with us. The staff was very nice and polite even when we called to let them know that my daughter had had an “accident” in the bed. By the time we came back from breakfast, they had the bed stripped and cleaned. We will definately be booking this hotel for our next Disney vacation."

If going to Disney stay with the Mouse

"Our family favorite. Love the pool and dinning options. Monorail is only a little walk. Price can be very high during peak season but if you can find a rate $200 or under would take it.The Seirra Tower looking towards Disneyland is great for a family with small children. You can go back to the room at nignt get them in their PJs and watch the fireworkds. Ask for 5th floor or above."
