Summary of Orange County Performing Arts Center
One of the most important performing centers in California, this venue features plays and Broadway shows, such as Cats, Miss Saigon, Ragtime and more. The Bolshoi Ballet has also performed here, and the Opera Pacific calls this their home during opera season. There are two performance venues – the smaller, more intimate Founders Hall and the larger Segerstrom Hall. Free tours of the center are available on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:30a. Youll get a peek behind the scenes at each theater, as well as a close look at the lobbies and surrounding areas. Call for reservations. Admission prices vary, but typically range between $28-$80 or so. Check the Web site for show schedules and ticket details.
