"I stayed at the Radisson in Fresno with my son for a paintball tournament. We arrived about 2:00 PM on Friday and they had us booked into a room with a King bed (I had reserved 2 Queens since originally my husband and younger son was going to be with us). I objected and they were able to find us a King with a pull-out sofabed. That was acceptable to me. Our room was fine, especially the Sleep Number bed. I slept great, in fact my son ended up sleeping with me instead of the sofabed! The room was a little small. The only other drawbacks was the sink, toilet, and shower were all in one room so one person could not shower while the other used the vanity, and the electrical outlets were far and few between. But I haven't found a hotel yet that has an abundance of plugs! There is a Pizza Hut restaurant downstairs and my son said the pizza was very good. The rest of the food was OK and the prices weren't too bad. I read other reviews and people were complaining about the trains, and I have to tell you I never heard nor saw any trains so I don't know what these other people were complaining about. When we returned from a day of paintball on Saturday, we found the parking lot completely filled (the Radisson was hosting 2 wedding receptions and an Eastern Star convention). I drove around and around for about 15 minutes and ended up parking in the parking garage. There was no charge but it is quite a walk from the garage to the hotel. I feel that Radisson guests should be given first priority on the parking spaces and the Conference Center people should be told to use the garage. With all those parties going on I thought it might get noisy, but again I don't know what these other people are complaining about--I never heard a peep from the bands or the party's. One more thing, the hotel offered free wireless internet service, which was great so my son didn't have to go through MySpace withdrawals.All in all, I thought it was a very nice hotel, especially with my Hotwire rate of $58. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I would stay there again if I ever found myself in Fresno."
