Venture out to the pool for a cocktail and catch a glimpse of Lindsay Lohan sunbathing or Paris Hilton ignoring ex-BFF Nicole Richie. When you’re ready to rest your sleepy head (partying like a pop tart will really take it out of ya) you’ll melt into down-filled duvets and Frette bed linens. The guest rooms are modern and stylish, and if you really want to live it up like a Hollywood diva, book one of the cabana rooms that sit around the pool. The Roosevelt is a mecca for Hollywood’s young and beautiful at the moment, but it used to cater to an even more glamourous crowd: Greta Garbo and Charlie Chaplin were at its grand opening in 1927, Clark Gable and Carole Lombard stayed in the penthouse, and Marilyn Monroe often stayed in cabana 246, and you just can’t get much more Hollywood glamour than that.
