Excellent Day Trip
"If you are looking for a good place to go with beautiful scenery and plenty of things to do, I would recommend Laguna Beach. If you live in the SoCal area, Laguna Beach makes an excellent day trip. Because there is a lot of beach front property, much of the actual beach, even though much of it is public property, isn't easily accessible which is actually a good thing because it discourages regular weekend beach goers and tourists. This allows for excellent beach access that is usually fairly secluded. My favorite part of Laguna Beach, however, are the tide pools on the rock structures that are common up and down the beach. It is an interesting and beautiful area.
