This hotel was founded at the turn of the century as an artist colony. Nowadays it is a beautiful place to stay with gorgeous views from all the rooms. It feels very much like a seaside Mediterranean villa; unique furnishings make it really special. Continental breakfast is brought to you so you wont ever have to leave your room if you dont want to. If you do, you will find many great restaurants and shops in Laguna Beach.

"Not fine luxury, but passably fine, if you desire the roar of ocean waves directly outside your room. We stayed here after we’d been at the Ritz, so it was at first a bit of a letdown, understandably. But our first priority is an oceanside room, on the beach. And this fits the bill. Saving hundreds of dollars per night over the Ritz, and you’re still in the heart of Laguna Beach, walking distance from everything!"
