"Located about a block from the historic Biltmore Hotel and adjacent to the architecturally magnificent LA Public Library, Cafe Pinot is a great restaurant spot if you are looking for a nice dinner. This is a Joachiam Splichal restaurant. Decor is modern and elegant. Service was pretty good except we arrived just as several diners were dashing off to the theatre, so our server wasn’t as attentive at the beginning. After the theatre rush left, the service was superb. Lots of menu choices. I had a fish dish that was exquisite and my date had a beef filet with pomme frite. There’s an outdoor patio that would be lovely in the spring or summer months."
