Summary of Cha Cha Cha
Toribio Prado & Mario Tamayo opened the original Cha Cha Cha in Silverlake in 1986. The restaurant s Caribbean food & festive atmosphere was inspired by their travels & became a quick success. Cha Cha Cha has always been a family-owned & run business & three of Mr. Prado s nephews, Miguel, Jorge, & Javier Anaya became part of the team early on. They honed their skills at other restaurants, such as The Ivy, Cava Restaurant, The Ritz Carlton & California Pizza Kitchen & were part owners in Confete. In June 2003, they became the principal owners of the Silverlake Cha Cha Cha. Cha Cha Cha is a place for celebration & when someone steps through the doors partner Miguel Anaya says he has one goal in mind. We want a place where someone can come in to enjoy the great food & forget about the outside world.
