Summary of La Serenata Gourmet
Surprisingly, its not easy to find gourmet Mexican in the City of Angels. Heres one place, however, that serves up high-quality food with an accent on fruits of the sea. The crowds flock to this Westside branch of the East L.A. original (La Serenata de Garibaldi) for the shrimp quesadillas, fish enchiladas and a seviche thats delicious. The owners dont take reservations, so be prepared to wait. Its worth it – even the salsas are out of this world.
